Cornmeal writing

The student grabs a letter from basket and traces it in cornmeal to practice handwriting.  Then, they gently shake the tray to erase the letter, and continue the activity with the different letters remaining in the basket they are working on.

El estudiante toma una letra de la canasta y la traza en la harina de maiz. Para 'borrar" la bandeja se agita suavemente y se continua la actividad con las letras restantes.

Querido Santa (letter to Santa)

I found this wonderful activity on Pinterest, and decided to do it with my students last week.  It turned out wonderful!  My students were not only excited about writing the letter, but also making their own Santa out of construction paper.

Encontre esta actividad en Pinterest, y decidi hacerla con mis estudiantes. El resultado fue maravilloso.  Mis estudiantes no tan solo se motivaron con la escritura, sino tambien con la construccion de su propio Santa (hecho de papel de construccion).

Homemade Movable Alphabet-I created a Spanish version of it for my classroom.  You will need to print the file several times in order to have, plenty of letters for words.  I purchase two clear boxes in the sports good (fishing) area at Walmart.  Small items were purchased at a craft store (i.g Hobby Lobby).

Alfabeto Movil hecho en casa-Yo hice esta version para mi salon.   Si te interesa, necesitaras imprimir cada pagina varias veces, para tener suficientes letras para la escritura.  Las cajitas las compre en el area de pescar en Walmart y los objetos en una tienda de manualidades (como Hobby Lobby).
