Some of my students have been struggling with these two letters, in order to help them "see the difference" I came up with this activity.  I gave each child an already traced b and d (on construction paper).  They did the cutting and the gluing. 

Varios de mis estudiantes han tenido muchos problemas con estas dos letras.  Para ayudarlos, hice esta actividad.  Le di a cada estudiante una letra b y d ya trazada en papel de construccion.  Ellos la cortaron y la pegaron las letras en papel manila.

Comparing letters b to d/Comparando letra b y d (sonido inicial/initial sound)
The student grabs a card from the pile.  Says the word aloud, and then places it under its corresponding initial sound.
El estudiante toma un tarjeta, dice lo que es en voz alta y luego la coloca debajo de la letra correspondiente.

A variation of the previous exercise-the student grabs a syllable from basket, reads it and then places on an object that begins with it.
Una variacion del ejercicio previo-el estudiante agarra una silaba de la canasta, la lee y luego la coloca sobre alguna lamina que comienze con esta.

I created this work to help my students learn the appropriate use of indefinite articles.  The work consists of placing a picture of an object under its corresponding article.

Yo hice este trabajo para ayudar a mis estudiantes a aprender el uso correcto de los articulos indefinidos-un & una.  El trabajo consiste en colocar la lamina debajo de su articulo correspondiente.
